BÅDSTED CAMPING

Bådsted Camping is situated just north of Døndalen, the rift valley with the highest waterfall in Denmark, and it is an extraordinary campsite. At Bådsted Camping, you can camp in green surroundings, close to the sea, and spend warm summer days and starry nights in a relaxed environment with awesome vibes.

Bådsted Camping is surrounded by woods. At the campsite, you wake up to birdsong and you can start your day at your very own pace. The campsite is situated close to the sea. You can fill your lungs with refreshing salty air and take a dip in the Baltic at Bådsted Beach, just few minutes’ walk along a wooded path. The beach is both stony and sandy, with few bathers as a rule. 

The small campsite kiosk has a limited but delectable assortment of products, most of which are local. You are never far from the summer’s must-haves, such as ice cream made from organic Bornholm milk or an ice-cold rhubarb cider. If you order the day before, you can also pick up breakfast at the kiosk, including fresh-brewed coffee, tea, dairy products and fresh-baked bread from a local bakery. 

The site has a large, covered lounge area with pallet furniture, garden lamps and a laid-back ambience. This is where you can mingle with others, if you feel like it, and play board games, etc., or read a good book.

Bådsted Camping’s 41 pitches make it particularly well-suited for cycling and hiking tourists, and the amenities will soon be enlarged to include one or more glamping tents. Bådsted Camping opens on 1 July and is an ideal setting for those who prefer camping in scenic surroundings without compromising on the quality.
